When Casey Brown picked a career path, he did so with his father in mind.
Don Brown was a State Farm insurance agent for over forty years. He was a man of integrity, honesty, and dedication to making the lives of his policyholders better.
It was his father’s version of the insurance world that Casey witnessed as a young man, and it was that version that lead him to his first stop in his legal career: representing insurance companies.
After graduating from Rhodes College and later attending the University of Houston Law Center, Casey began working for firms representing large insurers, product manufacturers, and energy companies, but he had a quick realization: this was nothing like his father’s work.
While his father worked tirelessly to help his policyholders collect the compensation they were owed, Casey saw that his modern counterparts viewed their work as a competition, and whoever found a way to pay a policyholder the least won.
This was the antithesis of his father’s work, and Casey knew he had to make a change. After several years of representing these large insurers, product manufacturers, and energy companies, he switched sides and started to work as a personal injury attorney with Michael Callahan.
Now, Casey helps injured persons collect the compensation they deserve and require to simply keep living their normal lives. In his own words:
Powerful people and companies taking advantage of those without means is one of the greatest injustices in our country, and I enjoy trying to correct that injustice.
By combining a sharp focus on the limited number of cases Casey and Michael accept and an impeccable eye for detail, Casey lets his legal expertise shine. Casey’s greatest skill in the courtroom is in the minutia. It’s in the ability to piece together a story with every single relevant detail that these cases hinge upon and having the wherewithal to armor a story that will be poked and prodded by an opponent.
